Our Lord announced that He was sent to proclaim the “Gospel of the Kingdom.” Jesus made the Kingdom of God the center of His message and His life on earth. If that is so, then the center of the life and message of His disciples must also be the Kingdom of God. What is needed for us today more than anything else is to bring life holistically to the point where it becomes totally meaningful and totally purposeful. That can happen within the realm of the Kingdom alone. Fragmented and unstable human life as we see it now can be put together and made stable and unshakeable only as the Kingdom unfolds and grows.
